At a very young age, society/dominant culture grabs hold of us and whispers the unsaid "rules" of what it takes to fit in. In order for those whispers to lose power, we have to say them out loud, talk about why they exist, and fight back by being our true selves! This class will do exactly that — we will shatter the status quo and explore what it feels like to truly belong to ourselves and community. We will do this through movement, stillness, and a solid dose of "shatter" calling, which will bring those whispers out into the open.

Postures Include: Utkatasana (chair pose) with variations, Virabhadrasana 2 (warrior 2) with variations, Utthita Parsvakonasana (extended side angle) with variations, Utikata Konasana (Goddess) with variations. (This class will provide a lot of "out of the box" thinking/feeling as we move, hence all the variations!
