Something wonderful happens when we come into an expansive heart space — we become more loving and compassionate toward ourselves and others. I often think of the heart as our “home." This yin and meditation class is a gentle reminder that when life comes down on us hard, it's easy to lose track of our purpose, of ourselves, and even time. But we can always find that grounded place within ourselves, where things are clear and sound. Returning home to ourselves, again and again. We are never lost, just exploring the boundaries of our heart. The practice of exploring our hearts is all about softening before we can activate and expand.
