Home can mean many things. In today's class, we will explore building a home within ourselves, so wherever you go, there you are. We will begin with building a strong foundation that is built on values, and then move towards constructing walls which will set boundaries for how we want to be treated. We want a home that brings in a lot of light, so windows are key and will teach us to be transparent about how we feel. Lastly, we will add color by decorating with our own personal creativity! My hope is you leave class feeling at home with yourself and have the courage to share your home with others! 

Expect to work on building the foundation (with strong, long holds), building walls (through core strength), putting in windows (with flexibility), and allowing creativity to flow through each expression. We are going to have fun building our homes together!

Props: water, sweat towel, blocks if preferred



Postures Include: A Strong Lunge series complimented with a warrior series (Virabhadrasana I, II and III). A core series (Vasisthasana/Strong arm variations), utthan pristhasana (Lizard), Kapotasana (Pidgeon), and lateral movement to build flow.
