This meditation focuses on Japa (derived from the Sanskrit root, jap, meaning "to repeat quietly and internally”). Mala beads are encouraged but not required. The Haus favorite "all of this is temporary" will be repeated 108 times to evoke a sense of calm and trust. 

Each meditation ends with a five minute free writing, so a journal or something to write with is encouraged.
