Welcome to The Inky Phoenix Presents! Yoga classes inspired by Kathryn Budig’s book club selections.
 
We all could use some words of encouragement every so often. This practice is inspired by NYT bestselling author Matt Haig's latest book, THE COMFORT BOOK. Kathryn takes a few of her favorite chapters (You Are Waterproof, Candle, To Remember During The Bad Days, Scroll Your Mind, Pasta, Rock, Chapter, Somewhere, and You Are The Goal) and weaves them into an up-lifting vinyasa class that reminds us to be gentle with ourselves.

Postures include:
Sun salutation A, sun salutation B with Japa mantra, Wild thing, side plank variations, warrior ii, scandasana, simple twist, side plank B, crescent twist, half fish, boat, half boat, garland or crow, dancing monkey, jumping jacks, hip openers, savasana.
