Haus welcomes Phoenix Friend Rocky Heron!

This class explores familiar yoga poses in regressed, novel, and unfamiliar ways. By shifting our bodies' relationship to gravity and the Earth, we can awaken to subtler aspects of our practice and the feedback it provides to our nervous system. This somatic approach allows for discovery, self-inquiry, and ample exploration of our bodies' movement options. In this class, we stay low to the ground to explore a series of short, functional mobility flows with an emphasis on hips, spine, and shoulders. We will explore supine sun salutations, side lying standing poses, and spiral pattern transitions to unwind and enliven our mind and body. Step outside the box of a more traditional practice, and awaken to the possibilities that exist beyond the boundaries of your yoga mat.
