Named after the fabled Fountain of Youth (which was said to be located in Florida), Florida water or aqua de Florida is a popular cleansing cologne used in spiritual practices. Join our Haus on this new moon to make our own Florida water and sigil according to the intention we want to set for the upcoming moon cycle. We will cast our circle, set intention, meditate, and create a personalized sigil and Florida water. There will be no movement in this ritual.

30 minutes

Tools:
  • 1 jar or bottle with fitted lid 
  • 1/2 cup filtered water
  • 1/2 cup Vodka or 90% isopropyl alcohol
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 5 cloves
  • Spring fresh rosemary
  • Dried lavender or essential oil
  • 1 lemon peel
  • 1 orange peel
  • Optional: rose petals
  • Optional: 8-10 drops of essential oils (such as bergamot, ylang-ylang, lavender)
  • Several pieces of paper
  • Scissors
  • Tape 
  • Pen or marker 
  • Sacred smoke (palo Santo, sage, or crystal) 
  • Optional: Tarot or oracle cards
  • Optional: symbols of fire (lit candle), water (bowl of water), air (incense, feather, sacred smoke), and earth (salt, rocks, crystals, plants)
