Autumn Equinox (September 23rd) marks the slow decent into darkness, reminiscent of Persephone’s return to the Greek underworld. Which is why we’re making a Persephone Spell Jar: the perfect way to bottle our shine from the summer, and keep that deep inside us as we step into the introspective darkness of fall and winter. Kathryn will open by casting the circle followed by meditation and guidance on making your jar.

Tools needed:
  • 1 small glass jar (roughly 10 mL) with a cork stopper

  • 6 dried pomegranate seeds
  • 6 fresh pomegranate seeds
  • 1 match
