Welcome to our WTF series where Kathryn breaks down common yoga poses that make you think, "WTF?!"
On today's menu: Tittibhasana or Firefly Pose. A magnificent arm balance that looks like it must feel glorious but is actually an astronomical amount of work. This posture calls for open hamstrings, deep flexion, core, balance — so yeah, a little bit of everything. So, everything we shall do! Part flow, part workshop, this class will be fun (yes, fun!) and deepen your understanding of this powerful arm balance.
Level 2 - 2/3

Props: 2-3 blocks, strap, wall space
Postures include: hero, reclined core, baddha konasana, wide legged forward fold, malasana, sun salutation A, adductor boat variations, plow pose, sun salutation B with lizard variations, runner's lunge, warrior ii, scandasana, bound side angle, bhujapidasana, tittibhasana A + B, with variations at wall and on blocks, window wipers, supported bridge, reclined twist, savasana.
